“We brought our twins to Faith Infant and Early Education Centre in the preschool program. They had a great time and learned so much that we decided to keep them there until they entered into grade 1. They spent a portion of their day learning academics and the rest learning through play. The Christian content was amazing as well. We could not have asked for a better centre for our family.” Mr & Mrs Jones

In the Pre-K program we offer a blended curriculum so that your child experiences both academic and play based activities. They will discover areas of interest that will amaze you and uncover both strengths and weaknesses, thereby setting and attaining goals. The exposure to other children help to set a solid foundation for future social development within your child learning how to adapt to situations that occur. Through planned and unplanned activities the children learn early phonics, letter recognition and shaping to arithmetic, French and music. Throughout the program they are taught the building blocks needed for the transition to the full day kindergarten.

The children will also continue with the development of their fine & gross motor skills, their cognitive skills as well as accumulating new life skills.  The teachers work with the children as a co-learning during the day and through individual and small group activities.  The teachers spend one-on-one time with the children, as well as use repetition throughout the year to enhance each child's own learning ability.

Goal setting for the children is a part of our daily curriculum.  The teachers use goal-setting to encourage the children to constructively use their communication skills, to participate in cooperative play, to teach them problem-solving skills, to build their self-esteem and to provide them with challenges that will foster their growth as a whole.  Children will learn to respect themselves, their friends, their teachers and their environment.
