Latest CWELCC Update:

As of November 2025:

  • Ontario has successfully negotiated a one-year extension of the federal child care program, which was to expire on March 31, 2026.

  • Childcare base fees continue to be capped at $22 per day per eligible child 5 years of age or younger.

  • The daily cap for children 5 years of age and under who attend before, after, or before-and-after care will remain at $12 per day.

  • Children only qualify for CWELCC rates until the end of their birthday month in which they turn 6.

  • Current fees reflect the 52.75% reduction under the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC).

Advance Payment:

When a family accepts a childcare space at the Centre, an Advance Payment of $200 is required to secure that spot for future use. This applies to private families only.

  • Once childcare commences on the date set by the Centre, the Advance Payment becomes refundable with thirty days’ written notice of withdrawal.

  • The advance payment becomes non-refundable if the child does not commence childcare on the expected date or if the family attempts to delay the start date, creating a vacancy in the program. 

All programs are offered on a full-time basis only.  We do not offer part-time care in any of our programs. While in attendance, the children receive two (2) snacks and a healthy, nutritious, multicultural lunch. 

A lunch bag policy is in effect for our School Age program.  School-age children are required to provide their own morning snack and nutritious lunch while at the centre.  An afternoon snack will be provided to them after school and on PA days.

  • Bus Cancellations -  During inclement weather days when school buses are canceled, the centre will gladly accept children for the full-day program.  Limited spaces are available, so call to book your space early in the morning.  Fees for this service are included in your monthly payment.  Walk-in clients must register their child before leaving them in our care.

  • Emergency Care -  We can serve families in emergencies, provided we can accommodate the child(ren) in the age-appropriate program.  A daily rate will be applied for that service. Please call ahead to ensure that your family’s needs can be met based on space availability.

  • School Closures - When schools are closed, the childcare centre is also closed. An email blast will be sent to our current families, and a voicemail will be set up on the centre phone to indicate the centre closure.
